Call for Abstracts

The AFCC 2021 Committee invites interested parties to submit abstracts and stand a chance to present their research papers at the congress.

Only original abstract of research done substantially in ASEAN countries qualify for Young Investigator Award presentation and authors should be below age of 40.  Any abstract that has been presented orally or as a poster at previous national or international meetings in this or any other society will not be considered eligible for presentation.

Abstract Structure

1. Title: The title should be indicate of the abstract content. Company or trade names, special symbols, characters and uncommon abbreviations are not permitted
2. Authors and Affiliations: A maximum of 5 co-authors can be listed on the abstract
3. Content: Abstract body should not exceed 250 words. Please do not include tables or graphs. Content must be organised in the following structure:
  • Objectives
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Abstract Submission Terms & Conditions

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English. 
  • Only online submissions are accepted. Other forms of submission will not be considered. 
  • Abstracts should contain original material that has neither been published nor presented at another International meeting at the time of submission. In addition, abstracts should not be submitted to international meetings which take place before AFCC 2021. However, abstracts submitted to, or presented at, local and national meetings will be considered. If applicable, the abstract should state: "This research has been approved by an ethical committee". 
  • Since all abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation will be published, they should be of copy-proof quality. 
  • Notifications regarding the status of your abstract will be sent out by 13 Oct 2021
  • Presenting authors are required to register for the congress if the paper is accepted. If the registration fee of the presenting author is not received by 13 Sept 2021, his / her paper will be considered as being withdrawn.
