LATE BREAKING
Abstract SUBMISSION

The ICE/AFES/AOCE 2022 Organising Committee would like to invite interested parties to submit late-breaking trial abstracts. It is a "not-to-be-missed opportunity" for authors to share their gripping and rapidly evolving research with the endocrinology community in Asia Pacific.

For review purposes, abstracts are required to be categorized into different themes as follows:

  • Adrenal
  • Bone
  • Diabetes
  • Obesity/Lipids
  • Growth Hormone/Growth
  • Pituitary/Neuroendocrinology
  • Reproductive Health
  • Thyroid 
  • Oncology
  • Technology 
  • Mechanisms
  • Health Systems/Care 

Abstract Structure
1. Title: The title should indicate the abstract content. Company or trade names, special symbols, characters and uncommon abbreviations are not permitted.
2. Content: Abstract body should not exceed 250 words. Please do not include tables or graphs. Content must be organised in the following structure:
  • Objectives
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Abstract Submission Terms & Conditions

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English. 
  • Only online submissions are accepted. Other forms of submission will not be considered. 
  • Abstracts should contain original material that has neither been published nor presented at another International meeting at the time of submission. In addition, abstracts should not be submitted to international meetings which take place before ICE 2022. However, abstracts submitted to, or presented at, local and national meetings will be considered. If applicable, the abstract should state: "This research has been approved by an ethical committee". 
  • Since all abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation will be published, they should be of copy-proof quality. 
  • Please refer to Abstract Submission Page for Acceptance Notification. 
  • Presenting authors are required to register for the congress if the paper is accepted. If the registration fee of the presenting author is not received by the given deadline, his / her paper will be considered as being withdrawn.

Abstract Awards Application Guidelines

The International Society of Endocrinology is pleased to offer Abstract Awards for young investigators and researchers that wish to attend the virtual ICE Congress 2022.  

The abstract awards include free registration to the full virtual congress programme.

Key dates:

  • 15 July: Late Breaking Abstract submission deadline. Any application received after the deadline will not be considered
  • 31 July : Registration & payment deadline

Please note that only online applications will be considered.


Abstract Awards Criteria

The ICE 2022 Abstract Awards are restricted to people residing in an ISE member country. First authorship of an abstract that is accepted for presentation in the official ICE 2022 scientific program is required.

Priority is given to:

·        People within 10 years post-PhD or MD (Early Career)

·        People residing in Low, Middle and Upper Middle Income countries as defined by the World Bank criteria.

Please note that if you obtain full support elsewhere, your submission cannot be considered.

Important Information

Abstract Award allocations will be announced by 18 July at latest. Should your abstract awards application be unsuccessful, you will still be eligible to register at the discount early bird rate until 31 July.

If you are not currently from an ISE member country but wish to apply for an Abstract award, please contact your national society to encourage them to become a member of ISE and allow you to apply or contact ISE at office@isendo.org to apply for individual membership.
