THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING APSC 2021

The Organizing Committee would like to thank our colleagues from around the world who have graced the meeting with their participation. The meeting was also honoured by major international partners including the American College of Cardiology, and the European Society of Cardiology and the World Heart Federation which had contributed to the success of the meeting.

Topics covering the entire spectrum of cardiology (prevention, imaging, arrhythmias, heart failure, intervention and much more) by international experts were delivered as state-of-the-art lectures and symposia with ample time for panel discussions. Our esteemed speakers across 3 continents joined us to present the latest in cutting-edge cardiovascular science. Young investigators were also given opportunities to present their research papers.

The recordings of all the sessions for APSC 2021 will remain accessible till 31 October 2021. Registered participants who have missed some sessions may login to the platform with the same PIN to watch the recordings as Video of Demand.

If you have not registered, you may register now to watch Videos on Demand till 31 October 2021.

CONGRESS HIGHLIGHTS

WELCOME MESSAGE

"Dear friends and colleagues,

2020 was a challenging year for everyone due to COVID-19. We continue to be concerned with the worldwide surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in 2021, and the lockdowns in several countries in recent months.

While the start of a worldwide vaccination campaign heralds the next phase of our battle to overcome this pandemic, many uncertainties still abound especially with regard to international travel and meetings. These uncertainties are making it impossible to plan, organize and execute a large scale in-person international meeting this year too in 2021 to the standard, format and style that our delegates, speakers, and industry partners expect and deserve.

After careful deliberation and taking into consideration the local and worldwide situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the APSC Local Organising Committee has decided that an in-person meeting in 2021 will be neither feasible nor practical. We will instead host a virtual APSC2021 from Friday, 1 October 2021 to Sunday, 3 October 2021.

The virtual meeting we are planning will offer a stimulating alternative forum that is attractive, meaningful and educational for you to participate in an interactive environment. Careful thought and planning are going into the virtual meeting format and content.

Join us on 1 to 3 October 2021 for the APSC 2021 Virtual Meeting!"

- Dr Rungroj Krittayaphong , APSC Organising Chair
