On behalf of the 4th Asia Pacific Mechanical Circulatory Support Organising Committee, I am pleased to announce that the APAC-MCS 2023 will be held on 22 – 23 September in conjunction with the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Heart Failure Society of Singapore endorsed by ISHLT. 

The Asia Pacific Mechanical Circulatory Support (APAC-MCS) Conference is a biennial meeting of healthcare professionals focusing on treating advanced heart failure in the Asia Pacific region, featuring comprehensive and interactive talks on heart failure, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support (MCS). The conference programme comprises content targeted at cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensive care specialists, VAD and heart transplant coordinators, allied health and nurses involved in the care of heart failure, MCS and heart transplant patients. To ensure the rigour of the programme, eminent leaders in this field from around the world will join us to share their insights into the latest developments in advanced heart failure treatment and patient care. Although the covid pandemic enforced a 4-year absence since the 3rd APAC-MCS in 2019, we are pleased that circumstances have once again allowed us to invite friends and colleagues from around the region to once more to engage with each other and with our invited experts face-to-face. 

We are excited to welcome you to sunny Singapore this September. Do join us in this enriching and educational experience, as well as to experience the gastronomic delights Singapore has to offer!

After a hiatus of four years due to the covid pandemic, the APAC-MCS is finally back and ready to welcome our international, regional and local friends and colleagues back to Singapore for an exceptional educational programme spanning over two days. We are also pleased to have made this year's conference a conjoint meeting with the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Heart Failure Society (Singapore), making it an even more comprehensive coverage of all things heart failure. The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) is proud and grateful for the opportunity to endorse the 4th APACS MCS/HFSS Annual Scientific Meeting. 

The standards for care and advances in outcomes improve through worldwide cooperation and collaboration. The 4th Asia Pacific Mechanical Circulatory Support Conference / Heart Failure Society (Singapore) Annual Scientific Meeting 2023 is a meeting of healthcare professionals dedicated to the treatment of heart failure in the Asia Pacific region. The conference features comprehensive and interactive talks on heart failure, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) as well as the sharing of expertise and insights by international experts in this field during exclusive breakout sessions.

The conference programme comprises content targeted at cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensive care specialists, VAD and heart transplant coordinators and nurses involved in the care of heart failure, MCS and heart transplant patients. The HFSS Annual Scientific Meeting held on the second day of the meeting also offers updates on HF therapy suitable for general practitioners and medical physicians involved in taking care of heart failure patients.
