Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) is pleased to invite you to the APASL Single Topic Conference (STC) 2026, to be held from 9 to 12 July 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. It is especially meaningful to convene this meeting in Singapore, the birthplace of APASL, where the Association’s vision for regional collaboration in hepatology was first conceived.
Cirrhosis remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality across the Asia-Pacific region, with diverse underlying aetiologies presenting unique clinical challenges. This focused conference will address aetiology-specific approaches to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of cirrhosis, reflecting the latest scientific advances and evolving clinical practice.
The scientific program will feature international and regional experts delivering state-of-the-art lectures, interactive case-based discussions, and multidisciplinary sessions covering viral hepatitis, MASLD, alcohol-related liver disease, autoimmune and cholestatic liver diseases, and other emerging causes of cirrhosis. Emphasis will be placed on personalized and evidence-based strategies to optimize patient outcomes across different disease stages.
APASL STC 2026 offers a unique platform for hepatologists, gastroenterologists, trainees, allied health professionals, and researchers to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and engage in meaningful dialogue on improving cirrhosis care in diverse healthcare settings.
As we return to Singapore, where APASL’s journey began, we look forward to welcoming you for an enriching scientific experience and collegial exchange in July 2026.
